Terms of service

Last updated:

These terms govern access to and use of albertoar.com, the private services hosted on its subdomains, and the controller's associated applications.

1. Owner

2. Purpose and acceptance

albertoar.com is the owner's personal website: a portfolio with a blog, a career journey and projects. By browsing the site or using any of its services you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

3. Acceptable use

You may read, link to and share the site's public content. The following is prohibited:

  • Making bulk automated requests or taking any action aimed at degrading the service.
  • Attempting to access private areas, other people's accounts or internal infrastructure without authorisation.
  • Circumventing usage limits, authentication mechanisms or security measures.
  • Using the site to distribute unlawful or harmful content, or content infringing third-party rights.

4. Private services

The services hosted on albertoar.com subdomains are for the owner's personal use and are accessible by explicit invitation only. If you have access:

  • Credentials are personal and non-transferable.
  • You must keep them secure and report any unauthorised use.
  • The owner may suspend or revoke access at any time and without notice, with no right to compensation.

5. AI chat and MCP server

  • The chat generates answers automatically using a language model. They may contain errors or inaccuracies and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
  • The service applies per-IP usage limits and may reject requests or be interrupted without notice.
  • The MCP server is read-only and exposes only content already published on the site.
  • Do not enter confidential information or third-party personal data into the chat.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, images and other content on the site belong to the owner unless stated otherwise. You may quote them with attribution and a link to the source; for any other reuse, ask for permission first.

The code of the projects published on GitHub is governed by the licence stated in each repository, which prevails over this clause.

The site may link to third-party pages. The owner does not control their content and accepts no responsibility for them.

8. Service availability

The service is provided "as is" and as available, on self-hosted infrastructure and with no service level agreement. Outages, maintenance and changes may occur, and any feature may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profit arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, together with its last revision date.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Málaga, unless consumer protection rules determine another competent forum.
